Our school building project helps to build new schools in areas where access for children is difficult or in areas where there are no schools, aimed at creating access to education for children in the underserved communities. This brings them opportunity to learn, develop skills and build confidence – helping them support themselves and their families. It also allows the parents to work full time without having to organize childcare.
Each kindergarten normally consists of three classrooms, one dining room, toilets and a playground. It takes around 90 days to build such a school which can accommodate around 120-200 children. The Dariu Foundation will donate around US $35,000 or 50% and the local partner 50% of total costs.
