A group of three TDF students from a mountainous secondary school in the Central Highlands of Vietnam has won the best project of Coolest Projects Malaysia 2020.
Recognising that thousands of people in Vietnam die in a traffic accident every year, among which drowsiness and “drinking & driving” are popular causes. Therefore, the group of students in Lam Dong created this project, aiming at contributing to reducing accidents. The system has two functions, including detecting the driver’s drowsiness, as well as detecting alcohol from the driver’s breath.
These students have never had any lessons of coding before having access to the coding skill training program supported by TDF, which started in July 2020.
