We believe that investing in young people and preparing them with the right skills for work, they will live out their full potential. But investments in learning and training are falling short and too many young people are not keeping pace with the evolving demands of employment.
The most disadvantaged children are our main targets. We trust that empowering women financially and young girls with education are smart economics and the right thing to do. It’s the key to eradicating gender discrimination and poverty.
Since 2003, our operations directly or indirectly impacted more than 1 million people all in all; over 22,000 scholarships were granted to disadvantaged students, of which 50% are female; 750,000 students benefited from 100 mobile schools, operating in Vietnam and Myanmar; a loan value of $40 million was granted to 260,000 women in Vietnam and Myanmar. These are only the first steps to the goal of creating sustainable and positive impact for 2.5 million people by 2025.
