Laos
The Digital Literacy Initiative (DLI) project, funded by The Dariu Foundation and Bread for the World, will be implemented with the Ministry of Education and Sports.
The project aims to better prepare youth for productive activities in the digital economy through basic coding and programming lessons, Code Clubs and digital entrepreneurship courses for students. Besides gaining basic ICT knowledge, youth will increase their creative, analytical and collaboration skills which are essential competencies for future employment.
Expected results are:
- 2,700 upper secondary school students access ICT activity training and increase their digital literacy.
- 450 TVET students receive training and increase their digital knowledge in business.
