The Digital Literacy Initiative (DLI) is a two-year programme (2024-2025). The overall goal of the programme is to empower youth for inclusion in the digital economy by providing access to digital literacy education and closing the digital divide. The programme will work closely with the government at national and sub-national levels. Through coding, students learn to think critically and solve problems when things don’t work. By developing applications to address practical problems in society, they gain leadership, communication and project management skills. These skills are important for future higher education and careers.
